Here are fifty English footballers born in 1994 who seem the most likely to have a chance of making it as a professional. There are a real range of players in this list. Some like James  Ward-Prowse & Nathan Redmond have made their Premier League breakthroughs. Then you’ve got the likes of Nick Powell & Nat Chalobah who’ve made their presence felt in the Championship but not in the higher division. Then there are the rest who are either in the lower leagues or in Under-21 football.

These players have two and a half years to reach the Premier League 25 man Squads. If they aren’t going to get there straight away then they need to go down the leagues to establish themselves and find a way back up. If as many as ten reach the 25 man Squad in the September 2016 then they’ve done very well indeed.

The ten players most likely to make at this stage are

Jordan Pickford, Eric Dier, Jordan Cousins, John Stones, Brad Smith, Nat Chalobah, Nathan Redmond, Nick Powell, James Ward-Prowse, Raheem Sterling
